The CPG Project

CPG | Community of practice on GreenComp skills for organisations’ human capital aims to close the sustainability skills gap in European SMEs and drive ESG adoption.

Through Communities of Practice, the project equips managers and entrepreneurs with practical tools and innovative methods to embed sustainability into their business processes. As a result, organizations become more aware of environmental challenges, more competitive in evolving markets, and better prepared to adapt effectively to the green transition.

Who we target

The CPG project is designed for entrepreneurs and managers of European SMEs who want to integrate sustainability into their business processes and improve their ESG performance.
Our training and collaborative pathway helps them:

  • gain practical skills,
  • drive organizational growth,
  • foster a work culture built on social responsibility, well-being, and sustainable innovation.

Beyond SMEs

Alongside this core group, CPG also engages:

  • technical teams from partner organizations,
  • a broad network of green transition stakeholders: public institutions, universities, chambers of commerce, and business networks.

Goal: share best practices and amplify the impact of Communities of Practice.

  • 25 managers and entrepreneurs directly involved (5 from each partner country)
  • Indirect impact on a wide European community of professionals and sustainability stakeholders

The CPG project aims to promote sustainability in European SMEs by strengthening GreenComp skills and embedding ESG principles into corporate culture and management.
